If there is any one piece we go to most in our wardrobe, it has to be our denim...
Our denim collection has always been a staple of our style and our wardrobes, long before The Guild opened, and we're now home to a range of coveted brands we really love, including Citizens of Humanity, Isabel Marant Etoile, and newest Guild arrival, Re/Done.
We've had a taste of what's to come for Re/Done and it's already a hard-to-find label we know you'll fall for. Born out of LA with a vision to rescue and repurpose vintage second-hand Levi jeans, Re/Done has gained loyal wearers from Selena Gomez, Kendall Jenner to the Hadid sisters.
We know everyone hates trying on jeans and it can be even trickier virtually, so we want to make it as straightforward as possible. Today we're not only sharing our go-to jeans, but also answering your most frequently asked denim questions... enjoy!

What's our go-to/favourite pair?
Amy loves the fit of the just arrived Jolene High-Rise Vintage Slim Dimple Jeans as well as Charlotte Hot Spring High-Rise Crop Jeans for this time of year, as both feel like authentic denim. She also loves the Emerson Sunday Morning style for an easy, slim boyfriend fit.

Is it worth spending more on premium denim?
We really believe so. Firstly for sustainability, which is one of the many reasons why we stock the denim labels we do.
We also consider the difference in fit, with many past high street purchases proving to be disappointing and especially so when bought online. We've lost count of how many pairs of jeans we've bought, worn, endured wearing and inevitably given away because of the ill fit. For something that we wear day in day out, we'd much rather invest in a really great fitting pair that we know we'll love.
Lastly, we notice a difference in the longevity of denim by brands who have invested or specialised in their process, lasting season on season and year on year.

How do we approach our denim investments?
We realise some labels are quite a hike in pricing from regular high street denim but we really believe in the investment. Our ethos has always been to invest in our most-worn garments; the everyday luxe we love wearing over and over. When it's pieces we turn to daily, we know the cost-per-wear is worth the purchase.
